I am a certified Special Education teacher with an endorsement in Learning Disabilities, experienced in supporting students with academic challenges in reading, writing, and math.

I hold a degree and endorsement in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), with experience teaching and promoting independence in exceptional students facing academic, attention, and social-emotional challenges.

I also hold a degree in Educational Leadership and Innovation, which equips me with the skills to collaborate with stakeholders and fellow innovators—confidently presenting data-driven insights through charts, graphs, and budget analyses.

With over 20 years of classroom experience, I’ve helped transform non-readers into readers, non-counters into counters, and supported students in developing foundational math and literacy skills. I’ve also guided students in practicing personal space, sharing, and self-regulation—reducing meltdowns and aggressive behaviors through evidence-based strategies and collaborative support.

I’ve had the privilege of witnessing students achieve meaningful milestones—tying their shoes, grooming themselves, sitting and walking independently, navigating their day with visual schedules, managing anxiety, and expressing their needs through assistive communication devices. These moments not only enhance the lives of the students but also bring lasting impact to their families.
